Found at Map Reference 57c.M.23.a.7.9. or GPS 50.0691, 2.7980. Found East of the village of Le Sars. One can likely assume he died during the fighting of October 1916. His means of identification were: Khaki, boots, and titles. On his boots were marked R.M.A. 664 (Royal Marine Artillery?) and he also had a pocket book and 2 watches. ***CWGC needs to amend headstone to show correct regiment |
