Cause of Death:
Died in Military Vehicle Accident. Percy and his unit were travelling back from manoeuvres in the Brecon Beacons when their troop carrier rolled over. Several of the other men had injuries, but Percy the most serious, he sustained a fractured skull. He was taken to Atkinson Morley Hospital (specialists in brain injury) in Wimbledon, and 24 hours later he died.

Son of Max Jacobson and Ima Violet Heberle. Brother of Ernest and Charmain in South Africa. Not on Armed Forces Memorial. Arrived from Durban, South Africa on Carnarvon Castle 29 January 1960. A professional engineer by trade and earned his degree at Witwatersrand University.
