Died in Military Vehicle Accident. Percy and his unit were travelling back from manoeuvres in the Brecon Beacons when their troop carrier rolled over. Several of the other men had injuries, but Percy the most serious, he sustained a fractured skull. He was taken to Atkinson Morley Hospital (specialists in brain injury) in Wimbledon, and 24 hours later he died. |
