Cause of Death:
Died in Aircraft Accident, Beechcraft Baron. The plane, known as "Dinky Toy" was supplied by UNITA and had been checked out by SAAF personel at Rundu. It was busy with aerial observations for Battlegroup Foxbat in the Silva Porta area of Angola when it crashed, 6km north of Norton de Matos. The SADF investigation team could not determine the exact cause of the crash.
