 Died of parenchymatous cerebral syphilis, at Komani Hospital, Quenstown. Medically boarded in 1942, in 1944, he was admitted to Hospital and then DB for safe custody, suffering from a mental disorder. It is unknown if he was released prior to his death in 1946
