Information:
Son of Francis Christopher Rawlinson, of Harlestone, Mooi River, Natal. He was captured on 20 June 1942 while part of the Regiment's Composite Coy, detached as part of the defensive line at Tobruk. Another POW reported that he had actually died in hospital at Carbonia, Sardinia and had been buried there. It is likely his grave was relocated after the war.
