Cause of Death: |
Died of wounds, received in operation in the vicinity of El Alamein. The Regiment had been tasked to lift an enemy minefield to create a gap for 69 Bde and an Armoured Bde to pass through. Casualties were inflicted by severe MG fire and artillery bombardment. He died later the same day from his wounds |
