Son of William Charles and Elizabeth Brown. Born Aldenham, Hertford, England. Born 1881 Aldenham, Hertfordshire, England. The body of Sgt E T N Brown was only recovered the next day; it had been severely mutilated, the upper lip with its moustache, left forearm and genitals being removed for muti.
