 Killed in action, during the Battle of Bangui, Central African Republic when 200 South African Soldiers successfully defended their base against an attacking Michel Djotodia's Seleka Rebel Coalition Force numbering approximately 3,000 troops and inflicted heavy casualties on the enemy force in the process. The Battle raged from Friday 22 March 2013 until Sunday 24 March 2013.
