Died in Aircraft Accident, Westland Wasp #86 helicopter developed engine problems and crashed into Table Bay, 7 miles west of Dassen Island. He was an Air Force photographer documenting "Operation Flaminkdans" - the welcoming of SAS President Pretorius into South African waters
