Found at Map Reference 57c.S.17.d.10.45. or GPS 50.0219, 2.8018. This is just south of the village of Longueval, south west of Delville Wood. One can assume he died during the fighting of July 1916. His means of identification were: G. S. tunic, with black buttons, boots, kilt, South African buttons in pocket, and cap badge
