Found at Map Reference 57c.S.12.c.6.5. or GPS 50.0116, 2.7942. This is the north end of Delville Wood. One can assume he died during the fighting of July 1916. His means of identification were: G. S. uniform, boots, titles, Pioneer's arm badge (crossed axes), shaving brush marked "G", pocket book stamped "With compliments from Adler and Zeffertt, Transvaal Hotel, --------burg"
