Found at Map Reference 57c.M.17.c.20.45. (or 50.0711, 2.7944). East of present day village of Le Sars. He was found with other members of the 1st SAI who were killed at Butte de Warlencourt in October 1916. His means of identification were: Clothing, boots and numerals
