LG Sup 20 October 1916 - "For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty when tending the wounded during operations. Though himself wounded and with nothing but a small trench to work in, he carried on during several days under heavy shell and sniping fire with the greatest courage."
Son of Mr. J. Liebson, of Walders Plant, Barkly West, South Africa. Wounded at Longueval on the 20th July 1916 and awarded the Military Cross for his work during the Battle of Delville Wood. ***Jewish
