LG Sup 24 February 1942 pg. 898 - "For gallant and distinguished services in the Middle East. On 22nd November Private Jensen was wounded in the abdomen whilst carrying a message from his Platoon Commander to his C.O. In spite of his wound Private Jensen continued on and delivered his message thereafter he reported back to his Platoon Commander in spite of sustaining a further wound."
