Information:
Son of James and Elizabeth Espey. Husband of Florence Espey. Left behind 2 sons, aged 8 and 9. Born Gortreagh, Cookstown. Thomas was a railway clerk in Cookstown before emigrating to South Africa. A Carrier's Contractor from Three Anchor Bay, Cape Town, was one of the 143 survivors who left Delville Wood on 20 July 1916 (refer: Roll Call: The Delville Wood Story by Ian Uys).
