Died of wounds, Hudson III AM949, at approximately 0300 on the 15th of March at position 23 degrees 44 min N, 98 deg 48 min E (near Kokang on the Burma/Siam Border). F/Lt Ponsford, died on the ground from wounds at 1000 on the 15th. The sixth and final crewman, F/O Prosser was found comatose with a fractured skull, lacerations of forehead and face, and multiple fractures of the right ankle |
