Cause of Death: |
Died of wounds, received at Onambutu in Northern Owamboland. While driving a Unimog vehicle on the pipeline patrol, his vehicle detonated two sandwiched Soviet TM-46 Anti-tank mines at Onambutu. He suffered a ruptured liver and lost both legs in the explosion and unfortunately succumbed to his grievous wounds before he could be evacuated by helicopter to the Surgical Hospital at AFB Ondangwa |
