 Died in Aircraft Accident, Cessna 185A #729, near border of Mozambique. Lt. Andrew Leith (21) of Lynnwood, Pretoria, was one of 4 people in a Cessna 185 that crashed about 56 kms south of Komatipoort. The flight was a routine border patrol. Capt. Rassie Botes and Sgt. Werner Grobelaar of Kimberley, and Cpl. Lindie Marcus of AFB Hoedspruit were taken to 1 Military Hospital with serious injuries.
