Cause of Death:
 Died in Aircraft Accident, Hawker Siddeley Buccaneer S-50 #419, at Walker Bay. At 13h00 two Bucanneers departed CTN to conduct a maritime strike exercise agaianst the HMS Fearless within an exercise referred to as CAPEX73. The formation flew into bad weather in the False Bay area enroute to the ship, at 13h30 a loud explosion was heard in the False Bay area. The two aircraft collided in mid-air, inflicting four fatalities
