Information:
Born in Zimbabwe and brought up in South Africa before joining the British Army in April 2002. Also served in Iraq, and on exercises in Norway, Belize and the US, and was deployed to Afghanistan on operations in September 2006. He was the 50th British solider to die in Afghanistan. He went to a Somerset West Private School, where he was head boy, and went on to Stellenbosch University, where he was a student representative council spokesperson.
