Died of wounds, as Pilot on BE2c. Shot down by enemy aircraft near Bapaume during a photographic patrol. His observer, 1st AM W.H. Cox, was taken prisoner. A second BE2c of the Squadron was shot down during this patrol with the loss of its crew |
