Cause of Death:
Died in Aircraft Accident, Hudson III V9032, air crash, at Quarry Farm, Ingleby Barwick, Middlesbrough. The crew of this aircraft were to undertake a training flight, the aircraft stalled soon after take off and then crashed into Quarry Farm, Ingleby Barwick. Along with the five airmen in the aircraft, four civilians in the house also were killed, two other children escaped with injuries
