Information:
Found at Map Reference 57c.s.18.b.85.25 or GPS 50.0254, 2.8192. This is the South Eastern edge of Delville Wood. One can assume he died during the fighting of July 1916. He was found in the same grave as J J J Steyn of the 3rd SAI. Also found in grave was a Lewis Gun tool bag marked No:4 gun No:3 Section & rifle number plate 3.S.A.I.340. His means of identification were: G.S. Uniform and titles and illegible disc. Lower part of his body had been blown away
