In the face of intense anti-aircraft fire, Captain Taylor flew over the encampment at a height of only 50 feet to complete the reconnaissance. He returned to base and afterwards led a bomber force to the target which was attacked with great success. Captain Taylor displayed outstanding gallantry and devotion to duty and his example was worthy of the highest praise."
