Information:
Son of Ethel Stainbank, of Coedmore, Bellair, Natal, South Africa, and the late Dering Lee Warner Stainbank. Served in the German West African War; at the conclusion he came to England and was gazetted to R.F.A. His brother William Dering also fell, he is commemorated on his brother's headstone. Buried 100 yards east of Potyze-Zillebeke Road, Zillebeke. Played rugby for Natal 1912 to 1914
