Son of Colin George and Sarah Johanna Ross, of Room 15, 218, Arcida Mansions, Johannesburg. Born Durban. A juniorclerk. At 15 years, 9 months and 12 days old, Pte. Ross is one of the youngest soldiers killed in the 1914-1918 war. Taken on strength 22 May 1917. Wounded in action (leg) 20 September 1917.
