Son of Mansergh Dias Robinson, of Johannesburg. Born 15/2/1897. Joined Overseas Contingent in 1915 and served through the Senussi campaign in Egypt, after surviving the horrors of Delville Wood he was killed in action on 18th October, 1916. He had just been selected for a commission in the Artillery and was awaiting orders to go to England for a course of instruction. Educated at St. Andrew's College, Grahamstown. At St. Andrew's from July, 1910-December, 1914. Rugby and cricket colours. |
