Killed in action, Blenheim IV Z7896, shot down by Zeros. Took off to bomb a Japanese Aircraft carrier. On return the formation ran into 60 Japanese fighters returning from escorting a raid on Ceylon. The fomration was attacked and a half hour battle resulted. Four of the aircraft were shot down |
