Entered Kriegslazarett 130 in Geraardsbergen on 16 April 1918. Died at 0430 on 29 April 1918. (Bundesarchiv B578_35642 nr. 1938 ). Originally buried at Geraardsbergen communal cemetery German extension grave nr. 43. Reburied at Tournai on 16 December 1927.
