Died in Aircraft Accident, Hudson I T9320, took off from Eastleigh en route to R.A.F. Siloth. The balloon barrage was being raised at the time due to an incoming raid, and the Hudson struck one of the cables and crashed into houses in Nutbeam Road. All military personnel and one civilian on board were killed, as were two civilians at Nutbeam Road |
